One dissatisfaction for some individuals who come to Peloton stage is that they may be accustomed to following their exercise history on like Strava, Training Peaks, Final Surge, RunKeeper or Garmin Connect.
Peloton gives a choice to send out your exercise information to Strava and FitBit, notwithstanding, for some other stage, you are all alone.
Peloton Rides to Garmin app – Github
Having this issue as a main priority, while researching, I found an undertaking app called “peloton-to-garmin”, it is accessible on Github. It was initially evolved as a method for upload TCX documents from Peloton, which is the record design that could then be utilized to physically transfer to Garmin Connect (and different stages). Notwithstanding, as of late the undertaking has been refreshed with the goal that it currently upholds auto transferring your rides to Garmin Connect for you while running the content!
One other thing
Note is that if you’re not comfortable having your logins stored in text in the config file, you can pass those commands in via the command line when running the program. The commands are :
”peloton-to-garmin.py -email PelotonEmail@email.com -password PelotonPassword -garmin_email YourGarminEmail@email.com -garmin_password YourGarminPassword”
Config file and command line prompts will ask for your Peloton email address and Garmin Connect. The software will also work if you use your Peloton username and/or Garmin Connect username in those fields – you have to choose.
Advanced options
Allows you to configure the Peloton to Garmin software to continue running in the background and automatically check and sync peloton rides at a certain time, like every hour.
The app is available for Windows, Linux, and MacOS. You can find a step by step guide on this page.
We can likewise watch the instructional exercise I’ve made and posted on Youtube:
